Analysis of Mojo Music Magazine Front Cover

The front cover has one main image in black and white which helps the magazine title stand out which is in orange. There is a supporting image which allows the consumer to get a sneak peak at what is included in the magazine. Mojo magazine has 3 main colours; orange, black and white. The colours on the main front cover are normally carried on throughout the whole magazine. This gives the magazine a sense of identity and helps to associate a magazine with certain colours. A maximum of 6 fonts is suggested for a front cover because anymore makes the magazine look tacky and slightly messy. Mojo has 2 different fonts, one which is unique to the masthead and another for the writing around the main image. The images on the front are all male between 20 and 30, except the supporting image who look about 40 to 50. This magazine will most probably be targeting young females between 16 and 25.
